Marian Rivera is SMDC stock holder

SMDC, which recently became the largest residential property developer in Metro Manila has new endorser Anne Curtis but;


Contrary to reports that Marian Rivera is no longer affiliated to SMDC here is the truth about the matter;

Marian’s contract with SMDC  expired BUT per agreement, they can still use Marian on their advertisement and she cannot endorse other condo because Marian is one of the Share Holders of SMDC.

This could be the reason why last Nov.3 Marian Rivera, Henry Sy Jr. with PSE CEO Atty. Val Suarez ring the PSE bell for SMDC's stock rights offering. 

There were unconfirmed talks that megaworld was trying to woo her upon learning of marian's contract expiration with SMDC. SMDC was most likely informed of marian's possible endorsement of another Real Estate Corporation. Last October,when Marian Rivera together with SMDC officials rang the bell for SMDC's initial public  offering of 1.8billion shares,one share was priced at a range of 5pesos to 9 pesos. we have no idea how many shares were given to Marian, but it must be something substantial. Marian can be regarded as "owner" of SMDC but so are a lot of people who availed of the stocks offered last October. but whether one is a mere public shareholder or substantial shareholder or major shareholder, it cannot be denied that Marian Rivera is very lucky to be part of SMDC coz she got her shares for free!...
